Background
Caroline came to the New South Wales Bar in 2008. She has particular expertise in public and administrative law, disciplinary proceedings, environment and planning and public inquiries. She has appeared in the High Court of Australia, and has conducted several appeals unled in the NSW Court of Appeal. She has also appeared in other intermediate appellate courts and superior Courts in NSW and other states and territories. In 2013, Caroline was appointed Junior Counsel Assisting the Royal Commission into Child Sexual Abuse.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Caroline was a Senior Solicitor at the New South Wales Crown Solicitor’s Office practicing in the Administrative Law, Government Law and Criminal Law Groups. She has also served as Tipstaff and Research Director to the former Chief Justice of NSW, James Spigelman AC QC. Caroline was awarded the University Medal for Law by the University of Sydney.
