Areas of practice
Jane has a broad commercial and public law practice. Her commercial practice includes general commercial, equity and corporations matters. She has acted in a number of class actions, including the long-running Queensland Floods class action, and Standard & Poors, Volkswagen, Westpac and NSW Ambulance class actions. Her public law practice includes administrative and judicial review matters in a range of jurisdictions, including the Land and Environment Court. Jane has been recognised as a recommended commercial litigation & dispute resolution junior counsel (Doyle’s guide, 2020, 2021 and 2023).
Before coming to the Bar, Jane worked as an Associate to a Justice of the High Court of Australia, as a solicitor at King & Wood Mallesons in Sydney and as an associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Silicon Valley. She is admitted to the California Bar. She has also lectured in Administrative Law at the University of New South Wales.
Jane graduated from the University of Sydney with University Medals in both Law and History. She subsequently received a BCL and MPhil from the University of Oxford, where she studied on a Menzies Memorial Scholarship in Law.
