Background
Daniel accepts briefs in all areas of law. Before coming to the Bar, he was a researcher in the Equity Division of the NSW Supreme Court, tipstaff to the Honourable Justice Meagher of the NSW Court of Appeal and senior associate to the Honourable Justice Nettle AC of the High Court of Australia.
Daniel graduated from a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Sydney with First Class Honours and the University Medal for his thesis on equity, supervised by Professor the Honourable William Gummow AC QC. He also graduated from a Bachelor of Economics with First Class Honours and the University Medal. His writing has been published in the Australian Bar Review, Australian Law Journal and Journal of Equity, and he co-authored a chapter on directors’ duties in Economic Torts and Economic Wrongs (Hart Publishing, forthcoming) with Justice Nettle.
