Background

Mary accepts briefs in all areas of commercial and public law.

Before coming to the Bar, Mary was a senior associate in international arbitration at WilmerHale in London. Before that, she worked as a senior solicitor at the Public Interest Advocacy Centre, now the Justice and Equity Centre. Mary was also an associate in commercial litigation at Allens. Prior to being called to the Bar, Mary was associate to the Hon Justice Owens of the Federal Court of Australia.

Mary studied at University College Dublin, where she received the gold medal for graduating first in her class, and completed the BCL at the University of Oxford where she attended on a scholarship from the United Kingdom Arts and Humanities Research Council.

Mary was admitted to practice in NSW in 2014.
