Jesse was also the associate to the Honourable Justice Gummow AC on the High Court of Australia, and practised as a solicitor in transport and commercial litigation with Ashurst and then Norton Rose Fulbright in Sydney. He is a university medallist and a published author in several leading periodicals from Australia, Europe and the United States in the areas of constitutional law, international commercial arbitration and public international law.
